First Response Emergency Care training is a progressive suite of courses from Qualsafe Awards who are a leading awarding body in the UK with whom ABC North west Ltd are a registered centre. This range of qualifications can lead to the QA Level 6 Diploma in Paramedic Practice (RQF).

Recognised by the Security industry Authority (SIA) and provides a suitable alternative to First person on Scene (FPOS) Qualifications. The courses are ideal for high risk work places, event medical and security industry, private ambulance services and anyone wanting to pursue a career in the emergency services.

FREC First Response Emergency Care

LEVEL 3 – Price From £375.00 + VAT

Endorsed by The Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care – The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and fulfilling the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level D, this fantastic qualification is a level up from the 3 day First Aid at Work Qualification and is delivered over a 5 day period, where Learners will gain the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to deal with a range of Prehospital care emergencies, such as: managing a patient’s airways, catastrophic bleeding, management of fractures, medical emergencies and more.

Assessment for the FREC L3 Course:-13 x Practical assessments, 3 x Theory assessments (Multiple Choice Question Papers) and 4 x Skills tests.

LEVEL 4 – Price From £475.00 + VAT

Endorsed by The Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care – The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and fulfilling the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level E, this fantastic qualification builds on the knowledge gained in the Level 3 Qualification and is delivered over a minimum 5 day tutor lead period in addition to pre and post course study, where Learners will gain the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to deal with a range of Prehospital care emergencies, including immobilisation, sick and injured children, mental health and major incidents along with assisting the clinician in a range of procedures.

Assessment for the FREC L4 Course:-3 x Practical assessments, 2 x Skills tests, 3 x Learner workbooks and 2 x Invigilated exams.

We now run all our East Lancashire courses from the new Burnley Dedicated Training venue which provides free parking and easy motorway access. We also have venues available in Bolton and Chorley.
